Sand Gnats Tickets on Sale NOW!
Opening Night at Historic Grayson Stadium will be Thursday, April 8th against the West Virginia Power with fireworks after the game. Opening Night and every Thursday night all season long will be a Thirsty Thursday with two-for-one draft beer and fountain soda, presented by Budweiser, Rock 106.1 and Connect Savannah. In order to best accommodate fans during the on-going construction of Landshark Landing at Historic Grayson Stadium, the City of Savannah will be installing temporary bleachers for Opening Weekend. Capacity will be limited and the Gnats recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
Fans can purchase tickets in three ways: 1) online at the newly redesigned www.sandgnats.com; 2) by phone at (912) 351-9150; or 3) in-person at Historic Grayson Stadium. "Sandgnats.com is the easiest and most convenient way for our fans to purchase tickets," said team President John Katz. "Fans can pick their precise seat, and buy their tickets any hour of the day or night." For fans who prefer to purchase tickets in-person, the Gnats are selling tickets out of the team's front office during normal business hours, from 9 AM- 5 PM, Monday-Friday. To reach the front office, fans should enter Historic Grayson Stadium through the gate on the third-base side of the stadium and make an immediate left.
The Sand Gnats will have a busy weekly promotional schedule this year in addition to the always popular Thirsty Thursdays:
* In 2010, the Gnats will be home on July 4th, and will be hosting a Fireworks Spectacular to celebrate America's Independence Day.
* Saturdays feature both the pre-game Saturday Night Live concert series presented by LiveWire, and post-game Fireworks presented by KIX96.
* Sundays, Subway and Quality Rock 105.3 present a brand new promotion: Kids Eat Free. All children 12 years old and younger will receive a voucher good for a free hot dog, soda and chips when they enter Historic Grayson Stadium.
* Mondays, Food Lion, the Savannah Morning News and E93 present Dollar Mondays with $1 tickets, $1 beers and $1 hot dogs. One dollar tickets will be available with a coupon from Savannahnow.com and in the Savannah Morning News. Food Lion MVP card holders may show their cards at the box office to receive the discounted admission.
* Tuesdays will be Two-for-Tuesdays with special offers on tickets and concessions items, including two-for-one Natty Light presented by Natural Light and I-95 WIXV.
* Wednesdays will be designated fundraiser nights as part of the Gnats "Pack the Park for Charity" and fans can win great prizes through the Gnats' Baseball Bingo game presented by News/Talk 630 WBMQ and Magic 103.9.
