Nuts Add New Food Items to 2010 Concession Menu

April 1, 2010
The Modesto Nuts and HWS Food and Beverage are pleased to announce the addition of several new items to the concession menu at John Thurman Field for the 2010 baseball season. In addition to the traditional ballpark favorites, the Nuts promise to appease the pallet with a variety of new items for fans to enjoy.

The 2010 menu will feature Uno Chicago Grill Deep Dish Pizza, the very same pie fans enjoy at their local neighborhood Uno Chicago Grill restaurant. Available in a personal pan pizza size, fans will find Uno Chicago Grill Deep Dish Pizza at the east and west concession stands.

San Francisco's own Evergood Sausage Company joins the John Thurman Field family of food favorites, with the addition of Evergood hot dogs, Italian sausage, hot link and polish kielbasa. A sausage cart will be located on the concourse for easy access to a delectable meal from Evergood Sausage Company.

The Nuts have also added a jalapeno and cheese stuffed jumbo pretzel to the concession stand menu, as well as FRITOS Chili Pie®, a Del Monte fruit cup and the return of the meatball sandwich. Fans who enjoy a warm beverage during the brisk evening games of April and May will delight in the addition of two hot chocolate flavors. Besides the traditional milk chocolate flavor, the Nuts have added a Hot Caramel Steamer into the mix, as well as Cinnamon Churro hot chocolate.

A few menu items have also been added to the Suite menu for those fans who have booked a suite at John Thurman Field. The new suite menu will include an assorted sausage platter with a combination of the three types of Evergood sausage (Italian sausage, hot link and polish kielbasa) with peppers and onions. There will also be an appetizer platter available on the Suite Menu, which will include grilled chicken skewers, potstickers, fried shrimp and chick-ribs. Dessert additions include a fried cheesecake chimichanga, and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Fans can count on seeing their old John Thurman Field favorites on the menu, including tri-tip, chicken fingers, french fries, salads, nachos, churros and assorted soda products and beers. Located in the East picnic area, don't forget about the wine garden, which features wine from McManis Family Vineyard, as well as assorted specialty import beers on a nightly basis.
