San Jose Giants Playoff Tickets Now On Sale
SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants announced today that tickets for potential 2014 playoff games, presented by TiVo, are now on sale. Including tonight, there are 11 games remaining in the regular season. The team is currently tied with the Visalia Rawhide for the Wild Card lead and is five games behind the Stockton Ports in the Second Half Standings. If the San Jose Giants clinch one of the remaining two playoff spots, they would enter the postseason for a California League record 11th consecutive season. All playoff games in San Jose would take place at 7:00 PM.
"As our team makes the push towards another postseason berth, we are excited to offer our fans the chance to guarantee themselves seats to potential playoff games," said Mark Wilson, San Jose Giants General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. "With TiVo as our partner, the 2014 playoffs at Municipal Stadium will be a can't miss experience."
In the event the Giants advance to the playoffs as the Wild Card team, they would host Game 1 of the North Division Mini Series at Municipal Stadium. If the Giants win the North Division Second Half, Game 1 would take place at the Wild Card winner while Game 2 and, if necessary, Game 3 would be hosted in San Jose. If they advance, the team would travel to play the First Half Champion Bakersfield Blaze for Game 1 and Game 2 of the North Division Series before returning to Municipal Stadium for Game 3 and, if necessary, Game 4. A potential Game 5 would take place in Bakersfield if the Giants are the Wild Card team, or at the site of the team with the best record if San Jose wins the second half.
If the San Jose Giants advance to the Championship Series, Game One and Game Two would be held at Municipal Stadium. The team would then travel to the South Division Champion for Game 3 and, if necessary, Game 4 and Game 5.
Individual game box seats are $16, Upper Reserved seats are $13 and General Admission tickets are $11. General Admission Youth and Senior tickets are on sale for $7 each. Active military and veterans showing proper ID can also receive tickets for $7. Kids four and under are FREE.
