Calling all dogs! Sunday is "Bark-in-the-Park"

August 24, 2014

MOBILE, AL -- The furry friends of the BayBears staff are barking up a storm today! They want to remind fans that today is the final "Bark-in-the-Park" home game during the 2014 regular season. The best part is, all paws get in free with the purchase of an adult/human ticket!

Dog lovers can bring their K-9 friends out to tonight's Sunday evening contest. Fans are also invited to play catch on the field pregame for the first 30 minutes after gates open at 4 PM. Kids 12 and younger may also run the bases postgame.

Sunday is FUN DAY this evening at "The Hank"!

After a 5-1 win on Saturday night the BayBears and Huntsville Stars meet again Sunday evening for game three of the five game series. First pitch is at 5:05 PM, the gates will open at 4 PM. Tickets are on sale now by calling 251.479.BEAR or online at MobileBayBears.com.

Any fan wanting to bring their dog to today's game just needs to keep their dog on a leash at all times and please clean up after their pet but owners and dogs may sit anywhere they would like for tonight's game. Water bowls will be set up throughout the Hank Aaron Stadium concourse to ensure every pooch can be properly hydrated.
