Fallin receives CL Trainer of the Year award
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Aug. 24, 2014) - The Winston-Salem Dash are proud to announce that athletic trainer Josh Fallin has won the Carolina League's Athletic Trainer of the Year Award for the 2014 season.
The award is decided by a vote among all of the athletic trainers in the Carolina League.
This marks the third time Fallin, a Lewisville, N.C., resident, has won the Carolina League's top honor for an athletic trainer. The 39-year-old also captured the award while with Winston-Salem in 2005 and 2007.
Fallin is in his 16th year with the White Sox organization. He served as Winston-Salem's athletic trainer from 2001 until 2010 before spending two years with Double-A Birmingham. While with the Barons, he earned the Southern League's top training honor in 2012.
After his award-winning season with Birmingham in 2012, Fallin returned to the Triad in 2013 for his second stint with the organization.
