Drillers To Open ONEOK Field
The Opening Night game will include several pre-game activities that will be highlighted by the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:10PM at the Oil Derrick Entrance located near the corner of Archer Street and Elgin Avenue.
Opening Night will be the start of a six-game homestand that will open the new park. The stand will run for six consecutive days, with the final game slated for Tuesday, April 13. All tickets for the Inaugural Game are sold out, but tickets remain for the other five games.
In addition to the Inaugural Game at ONEOK Field, the first homestand will also include the first downtown fireworks show at the new park following the game on Friday, April 9. Saturday, April 10 is Tulsa True, Wear Drillers Blue Night with all fans encouraged to wear blue.

WEATHER OR NOT: The extended weather forecast is calling for clear skies and practically no chances of rain for the entire six days of the opening homestand.
HISTORY BOOKS: Tulsa last opened a new park for its professional baseball team on April 16, 1981 when Sutton Stadium hosted its first game. Arkansas defeated the Drillers 1-0.
STARTING THINGS: Highly touted pitcher Christian Friedrich (Freed-rick) will start the opening night game for the Drillers. Freidrich, a lefthander, was the number one draft pick of the Colorado Rockies in 2008. During the off-season, he was ranked as one of the Top 50 Prospects in minor league baseball by MLB.com.
FIRST PITCH: Country music star and actor Tim McGraw will throw a ceremonial first pitch before Thursday's Inaugural Game. McGraw, the son of former major league pitcher Tug McGraw, will perform a concert at the BOK Center later that night.

ONEOK Field makes its debut as the Drillers open the 2010 season! It will be a historic night as professional baseball returns to downtown Tulsa after an 80-year absence. Ribbon cutting ceremonies will take place at 5:00PM at the Oil Derrick Entrance at the corner of Archer and Elgin Avenues, with the gates to ONEOK Field opening for the first time at 5:30PM. The first 5,000 fans to enter will receive commemorative ONEOK Field Inaugural Season Lanyards compliments of ONEOK.

FIREWORKS FRIDAY/2010 SCHEDULE CLINGS
It's the first Fireworks Show at ONEOK Field as the skies in downtown Tulsa will light up following the Drillers game with Corpus Christi. In addition, all fans will receive 2010 cling schedules presented by Mazzios. The cling schedules are similar to magnetic schedules, but can stick to any surface.

TTCU FAMILY FUNDAY SUNDAY/NICKELODEON CHARACTERS DAY
Join us for the first TTCU The Credit Union Family FUNday Sunday of the season. Nickelodeon characters will be at the ballpark, and the first 500 kids, age 12 and under, will eat free courtesy of TTCU The Credit Union and 92.9 KBEZ. Kids, ages 5-12, will also be able to join the Drillers for a FREE baseball skills clinic before the start of the game. Finally, all fans will be able to take home a free sapling suitable for planting at home compliments of Up With Trees.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT/ TWILIGHT NIGHT
Fans will be able to enjoy a night of Twilight-themed contests, trivia and giveaways. The Oklahoma Blood Institute will host a blood drive at ONEOK Field beginning at 5:30 PM as part of Twilight Night. Ladies will receive massages and hand care plus merchandise and concession discounts.

It's a night of discounts! General Admission tickets on the outfield lawn are only $2.00 each, while all other tickets are discounted $3.00 off normal prices. In additions, Drillers Hot Dogs, Mazzio's Pizza slices, Pepsi fountain drinks and jumbo soft pretzel will be on sale for only $2.00 each.
