Hooks on Oldies 93.9 Thursday

CORPUS CHRISTI -Thursday night's Hooks-RoughRiders game will be carried on Oldies 93.9 KMXR-FM and cchooks.com, with Michael Coffin, Chris Blake and Gene Kasprzyk on the call. First pitch is at 7:10 PM with the Supreme Lending pre-game show getting things started at 6:50.

2014 is the eighth season of Hooks Baseball on Corpus Christi's ClearChannel stations. The club's flagship station - News Radio 1360 KKTX - will carry NFL preseason football Thursday night.

Coffin, who serves as Hooks media relations manager, is a Sam Houston State graduate and is in his second season as lead play-by-play voice. Kasprzyk is head baseball coach at Sinton High School. His Pirates captured Class 3A state championships in 1988, 1989 and 2002.

Blake graduated from TCU's Schieffer School of Journalism in 2011. He worked Hooks radio broadcasts on an interim basis in 2012 and joined the team full-time last season.
