'Topes Extend Broadcast Relationship
"Fans have been able to enjoy Isotopes games on Citadel stations from our first year in 2003 and we're excited to continue what has been a great relationship," said Isotopes General Manager John Traub. "Given the breadth and power of the Citadel stations not only in Albuquerque, but throughout New Mexico, it's a relationship that means a lot to our success."
"The Isotopes are a key element of our local sports programming on KNML and we are excited to renew this multi year agreement, a year ahead of schedule," said Citadel General Manager Milt McConnell. "Albuquerque loves the Isotopes and is one of the key reasons why 610 The Sports Animal has been in the sports broadcasting business and an ESPN affiliate for fifteen years now."
Albuquerque opens its season tonight when they take on the Oklahoma City RedHawks, Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, at 6:05 PM. All the action can be heard live on 610 The Sports Animal beginning with the Isotopes Pre-Game Show starting at 5:50 PM.
