Louisville Bats statement regarding CEO of Centerplate

The Louisville Bats acknowledge awareness of the current situation involving the CEO of Centerplate. The Bats do not condone such behavior towards animals in any capacity as it is both incredibly cruel and punishable by law. The incident involving him does not reflect the actions or attitudes of workers at Louisville Slugger Field with either Centerplate or the Louisville Bats. The Bats have long shown support of the animal community with yearly events and donations to the Kentucky Humane Society. We are pleased to know that Centerplate's board of directors has taken swift and decisive action in addressing the situation.
