Potomac Nationals Set New Franchise Single-Season Attendance Record

P-Nats Drew Single-Campaign Franchise Record 243,559 Fans to G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium in 2014

Woodbridge, VA-The Potomac Nationals are elated to confirm the club has set a new franchise single-season attendance record as 243,559 fans enjoyed P-Nats Baseball at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium during the 2014 Carolina League regular season.

The P-Nats' 2014 regular season attendance mark ranked fourth in the eight-team Carolina League behind the Frederick Keys (324,446), Winston-Salem Dash (299,645), and Wilmington Blue Rocks (278, 316).

The massive overall regular campaign attendance figure for the 2014 season shatters the previous team record achieved amidst the 2013 season (236,772).

An average of 3,866 fans per game were in attendance at The Pfitz in 2014 which represents a 9.4% increase from the 2013 average attendance mark per game (3,534).

The Potomac Nationals played to a league-best (47-23) home record in front of P-Nats fans in 2014 while capturing both a First-Half and Second-Half Northern Division Championship.

As a franchise, the Nationals have earned four consecutive division titles.    

The Potomac Nationals of the Carolina League play at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Virginia, and are the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The Potomac Nationals have claimed four Carolina League Championship titles (1982, 1989, 2008, and 2010) and eight division championships.
