Cardinals Season Ticket Holders get Family Pass to Arizona Fall League

September 5, 2014

Springfield, MO - The Springfield Cardinals are excited to once again partner with the Arizona Fall League to provide all Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders with a Season Family Pass to all Fall League games this year. The 2014 Arizona Fall League season begins on Tuesday, October 7.

The Arizona Fall League is regarded as the "finishing school" for top prospects all throughout professional baseball. The St. Louis Cardinals will be represented by six 2014 Springfield Cardinals on the Peoria (AZ) Javelinas roster - All-Star C Cody Stanley, RHP Sam Tuivailala, RHP Mitch Harris, 2B Jacob Wilson, OF Charlie Tilson and 2B Breyvic Valera. RHP Tyrell Jenkins and RHP Chris Perry, both of whom finished the season in High-A Palm Beach, will also suit up for Peoria. Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher and current Peoria (IL) Chiefs (Low-A) Pitching Coach, Jason Simontacchi, will serve as the Javelinas' pitching coach.

The Cardinals prospects will be joined by players from the Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays farm systems on the Javelinas roster. Comprised of only six teams, assignments to the Arizona Fall League are not only an honor for players, but also for managers, coaches and athletic trainers.

The Arizona Fall League Season Family Pass, a value of $115, is good for up to six (6) people and is valid for any 2014 Arizona Fall League game. As a token of our appreciation, all Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders will receive a complimentary AFL Season Family Pass for the 2014 season. Details on registering for your AFL Season Family Pass will be sent to Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders separately. Passes must be registered for by Monday, October 6.

Beginning play on Tuesday, October 7, the Arizona Fall League runs through Thursday, November 13 and features the Rising Stars All-Star Game on Saturday, November 1, before concluding with the annual Championship Game on Saturday, November 15 at Scottsdale Stadium.
