Snapper Win Streak Ends At Four Games.
The Quad Cities River Bandits ended the Beloit Snappers win streak at four wins as the Bandits came back late to win 5-3.
Bandit's first baseman Matt Adams three-run homer in the seventh wiped out a one-run lead by the Snappers eventually being the game winning hit.
In the fourth inning each team swapped two-runs apiece as the Snappers got an RBI hit from Brian Dozier and later a sac fly from Angel Morales.
The Snappers would take a one-run lead in the sixth frame as Steven Liddle drove in Aaron Hicks who had reached on a bunt single and advanced all the way to third on a throwing error by Bandits catcher Robert Stock.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is centerfielder Aaron Hicks, in the contest Hicks went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.
Wednesday night Brad Stillings (0-1) will take the bump for the Snappers with first pitched scheduled for 6:30PM at Pohlman Field.
