Spokane's opener sold out
The first of a five-game series against the Volcanoes, Monday's contest will have more than 7,300 people in attendance to enjoy Opening Night Fireworks & AAA Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night, presented by Les Schwab Tires, KREM 2-TV, and Cat Country 94.
The Indians are looking to win their third Northwest League crown in four years under the affiliation of the Texas Rangers. Last year Spokane beat the Vancouver Canadians 3-2 in the NWL Championship series to bring the Freitas Cup home to the Lilac City.
The opening home stand continues on June 20th with Baseball Hat Night presented by Pepsi, Arby's and The Inlander. The first 1,000 fans will receive a 2005 Spokane Indians NWL Championship Hat.
Fans can also celebrate during OTTO's Birthday Bash on June 21st, presented by Zak Designs, Smith Orthodontics, and KAYU Fox 28. OTTO The Mascot will be celebrating his eighth birthday with his favorite mascot friends.
There will be a chance to win a private education on Tuition Night, June 22nd, presented by Gonzaga Prep and 103.1 KCDA. If the Indians record exactly 10 strikeouts as a team then one lucky fan will win $10,000 in tuition money to Gonzaga Prep.
And don't forget to chow down on NAPA $1 Family Feast Night, presented by NAPA Auto Parts and 92.9 ZZU. All hot dogs, Pepsi products and ice cream sandwiches are just $1, meaning great food, great baseball and great prices.
