Pringles Park to host Super Splash Day

JACKSON, Tenn. -- The West Tenn Diamond Jaxx, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, announced that the popular Super Splash Day will return to Pringles Park.

On Wednesday, June 21, Diamond Jaxx fans will be able to enjoy a rare day game with the opening pitch being thrown at 11:05 a.m. Those in attendance to watch the Diamond Jaxx take on the Mississippi Braves should be prepared to beat the heat by getting wet!

The City of Jackson Fire Department will be on hand to spray everyone down, and there will be plenty of fun water games for everyone to enjoy. Any group that purchases tickets in advance will receive a special Super Splash Day rate, with some seats priced as low as as $2.00.

Following Wednesday's game, Diamond Jaxx players will be at the Honey Baked Ham Company on Vann Drive to meet fans and sign autographs. The Diamond Jaxx are scheduled to arrive around 4:30 p.m., and Newstalk 101.5 will be conducting a live remote broadcast onsite from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

Additionally, Honey Jaxx 2, the Diamond Jaxx Rally Pig, will make his first public appearance outside of Pringles Park at the Honey Baked Ham Company on Wednesday afternoon.
