Bernie, 66ers Best Fan!
Standing tall at 6' 3", weighing 260 lbs., and always wearing the number 66, Bernie is an essential part of the Inland Empire 66ers. Bernie has been engaging crowds at Arrowhead Credit Union Park for many years and never disappoints.
"Its really funny when Bernie pushes his stomach out and does his yell," said 66ers fan, James Lopez.
There is not one night at stadium that you cannot anticipate seeing Bernie start the night off with a dance behind home plate in an effort to get the crowd excited about the game. His effort works as fans always begin to clap for him and yell "WHOO" back at him.
If the big furry mascot isn't dancing or making noise somewhere in the park with his pots and pans, then he is usually visiting and taking pictures with fans. You can also see him on the field teasing the opposing team's coaches or racing kids around the bases. A crowd favorite at Arrowhead Credit Union Park Bernie is at every game entertaining the fans.
He always works hard to keep the crowd entertained and the fans involved even when his team may not be on top at the moment. He never skips a beat and constantly keeps fans on their toes, waiting for what he might do next.
