Cardinals launch 2014 Game-Worn Road Jersey Auction

Springfield, MO - With the St. Louis Cardinals starting their Postseason run this evening, the Springfield Cardinals have launched the 2014 Game-Worn Road Jersey Auction. Click the link below to view the complete list of available jerseys and the Cardinals who wore them.

The 2014 Game-Worn Road Jerseys feature the Commemorative 10th Season Patch on the right sleeve, celebrating the milestone campaign and offering fans a unique piece of Cardinals history.

In addition to the specialty patch, the 2014 Road Jerseys were worn by some exciting current and up-and-coming St. Louis Cardinals. Don't miss your chance to bid on RHP Michael Wacha's #48 Road Jersey, which he wore during his Rehab Start on August 31. Other current members of the Cardinals 40-Man Roster that wore the 2014 Road Jerseys include LHP Marco Gonzales (#44), RHP Jason Motte (#32), C Tony Cruz (#5), INF Greg Garcia (#3), RHP Sam Tuivailala (#44) and SS Aledmys Diaz (#31).

Other exciting prospects that wore the 2014 Road Jerseys include C Cody Stanley (#21), 2B Jacob Wilson (#7), RHP Zach Petrick (#32), RHP Mike Mayers (#40), OF Charlie Tilson (#16), INF Breyvic Valera (#32) and more. Former Cardinals prospect and one of the top outfield prospects in Minor League Baseball, OF James Ramsey, also wore the #23 Road Jersey prior to being traded to the Cleveland Indians.

Bidding for the 2014 Game-Worn Road Jerseys will begin at just $100 and will proceed in $5 increments with no maximum increase. High bids will be updated periodically on SpringfieldCardinals.com.

Fans may also come by the Front Office at Hammons Field to place their bid. The office is open daily from 8:30am - 5:30pm, though the auction will close on Thursday, October 9 at 5pm.

If you email your bid or leave a voice mail, please be sure to include your full contact information, which jersey you are bidding on and your bid amount in the message.

Winning bidders may pick up their jerseys beginning on Monday, October 13 at 9am. Auction winners may request to have their jersey mailed for an additional shipping cost.
