Fresno unveils preliminary 2015 season schedule
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, announced their 2015 Pacific Coast League season schedule today and will celebrate Opening Day on April 9, 2015 against the Las Vegas 51s at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno.

The Grizzlies are kicking off the release of the 2015 schedule with a sweepstakes that will award one winner complimentary season tickets for the upcoming season. Fans can enter the contest for free at extra.fresnogrizzlies.com. The sweepstakes winner will receive two complimentary Super View tickets to all 72 Grizzlies' home games, one parking pass, and a variety of other season ticket holder perks. Fans that have already purchased 2015 season tickets are also eligible to enter.
The April 9th opener against the Las Vegas 51s marks the fourth time the two teams have opened the season against each other and is the 10th time overall in the Grizzlies 18-year history they'll open the season at home.
During the 2015 campaign, fans will be able to see games in Downtown Fresno featuring the Triple-A affiliates of the New York Mets, Los Angeles Angels, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, Miami Marlins and Texas Rangers.
The home slate includes 11 total homestands and 33 weekend dates. Rival Sacramento comes to Chukchansi Park for the first time on June 23rd in a three-game series and again on August 5th for a five-game set. Forty-eight (24 home, 24 away) of the 144 games will be played against Pacific Northern division foes, which are the Reno Aces (ARI), Sacramento River Cats (SF) and Tacoma Rainiers (SEA).
Fresno will host games on Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Father's Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. Additionally, fans can circle August 6th as the date for Taco Truck Throwdown, which is adding new wrinkles for its fifth anniversary.

The sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. PT on October 1, 2014 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on December 31, 2014. There is no purchase necessary to win or enter. Entries received prior to or after the Promotion Period are disqualified. Winner will be selected at random on or about January 5, 2014 and notified by phone and/or email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted on the first attempt to contact the potential winner, an alternate entrant will be selected in his or her place at random from all eligible entrants.
