McCormick Field to Undergo Seating Renovations
ASHEVILLE, NC-- Less than a month after the Asheville Tourists claimed their second South Atlantic League championship in the last three seasons, the organization is already preparing for 2015. The aluminum bleacher-style benches, which were first implemented at McCormick Field in 1992, are being replaced in favor of individual reserved stadium-style seats.
"One of this year's main off-season projects is enhancing the fan's viewing experience," said Tourists President Brian DeWine. "Remodeling the seating bowl adds a level of comfort and space without losing any of McCormick Field's historic attributes."
The renovation will result in many revamped seating sections. Fans will have the option to choose from seven areas in the ballpark to enjoy the action:
Bojangles' Dugout Suites
The Bojangles' Dugout Suites are the closest seats to the field in the entire ballpark. Located adjacent to both the first and third base dugout, fans can reserve seats on either side. Not only are you right next to the action, but can enjoy the game in a comfortable, oversized chair with plenty of room. The seats come standard with unlimited complimentary Bojangles' Chicken Sandwiches, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Coca-Cola Products and Ballpark Snacks. All seating in this section is reserved with a designated seat. A Full-Season Ticket in the Bojangles' Dugout Suite is $1,799 and a Half-Season plan is $980.
Press Row

Fully protected from rain by the overhang, fans can also take advantage of a personal Seat Server to purchase designated food and drink items from for every game. All seating in this section is reserved with a designated seat. A Full-Season Ticket in Press Row is $700 and a Half-Season plan is $399.

Section C begins even with first base while the Premium Box Seats continue down towards home plate, up the third base side, and concluding with Section O. The actual seats are stadium-style seats with armrests and cup holders. Like Press Row, fans can take advantage of a personal Seat Server to purchase designated food and drink items from for every game. All seating in this section is reserved with a designated seat. A Full Season Premium Box Seat is $499 and a Half-Season plan is $299.

These sections line up with the back of the infield on both the first and third base sides. The seats are stadium-style seats with armrests and cup holders. In-seat servers do not attend to Box Seats. All seating in this section is reserved with a designated seat. A Full-Season Box Seat is $499 and a Half-Season plan is $299.
Reserves [New Seats]

All seating in this section is reserved with a designated seat. A Full-Season Reserve Seat is $399 and a Half-Season plan is $249.
