2015 Schedule Officially Released

OMAHA, Neb. - The back-to-back Triple-A National Champion Omaha Storm Chasers parent club, the Kansas City Royals, are continuing their magical postseason run in the American League Championship Series tonight. With baseball fever still in the air the Storm Chasers are proud to officially reveal their 2015 schedule.

The premiere event at Werner Park for the 2015 season will be the First National Bank Triple-A All-Star Game July 15th, the first time Omaha has ever hosted such an event, with festivities beginning on July 12th. To guarantee the first chance at tickets and jump ahead of the All-Star Game Wait List, fans can purchase one of the Storm Chasers Ticket Plans, including the popular nine-game Friday Fireworks and Thirsty Thursday Mini-Plans for $90.

Opening Night at Werner Park will be Friday, April 17, as the Storm Chasers look to win an unprecedented third straight Triple-A National Championship. The breakdown of homestands for the 2015 schedule:

  • April: 17th - 24th
  • May: 4th - 11th, 21st - 28th
  • June: 6th - 9th, 15th - 17th, 26th - 30th
  • July: 1st - 3rd, 8th - 11th, 20th - 27th
  • August: 1st - 4th, 11th - 14th, 23rd - 30th
  • September: 4th - 7th

While the teams in the American Conference North Division remain the same, two of the four parent clubs have changed highlighting a major overhaul already in this offseason of MLB/Pacific Coast League affiliations. The Colorado Springs Sky Sox will feature the Milwaukee Brewers top talent, while the Oklahoma City RedHawks are now the affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Division home games are as follows:

  • Colorado Springs Sky Sox: June 6th - 9th, July 24th - 27th
  • Iowa Cubs: June 15th - 17th, July 8th - 11th
  • Oklahoma City RedHawks: May 8th - 11th, July 20th - 23rd

Outside of division rivals, other key dates to circle on the Storm Chasers 2015 calendar are the two series with the St. Louis Cardinal affiliate and last year's playoff opponent the Memphis Redbirds and a 2014 Pacific Coast League Championship rematch with the Reno Aces:

  • Memphis Redbirds: April 21st - 24th, August 11th - 14th
  • Reno Aces: May 21st - 24th
