Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game is Nov. 1
ATLANTA, Oct. 16 - New York Yankees catcher Brian McCann and his wife Ashley will return as the honorary chairs for the Delta Air Lines Double Play fifth annual Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally). The McCanns have been spokespeople for Rally since 2007.
The Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game, presented by Jet Sports Management, Ashley and Brian McCann and the Chipper Jones Family Foundation, will take place Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gwinnett Braves Coolray Field. On-field activities with celebrities will begin at 11 a.m., and the first pitch will take place at 12:00 p.m.
Tickets for the Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game are $10 for adults, $5 for students and children under 10 are free. The family-friendly event will include a sports memorabilia silent auction, food and merchandise for sale.
"My wife and I are honored to be returning chairs of the Delta Double Play's Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game this year," said McCann. "Working with Rally has given us the opportunity to help the children affected by cancer as well as provide the means for researchers to find a cure."
In addition to the McCanns, other celebrity guests are scheduled to attend. Celebrity team captains include Tug from Kicks 101.5 FM and Bert from Q100's The Bert Show. Rally Kids, kids who have fought or are fighting cancer, will also be in attendance as honored guests and will participate in on-field activities during the game.

The Brian McCann Rally Celebrity Softball Game serves as one of two events featured in the Delta Air Lines Double Play. The following Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, the Benefit Bash will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead. The Delta Air Lines Double Play has raised more than $2.3 million for childhood cancer research.
