Game Times for 2015 Schedule Announced

Fans express pleasure with start times for '14; club keeps standard game times consistent

CHARLESTON, SC - Next year will mark the 19th season of Charleston RiverDogs baseball at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. With the team coming off three consecutive winning campaigns, there is a lot of excitement looking ahead to 2015.

To add to the anticipation, the club has announced their game times for 2015.

"Ensuring our fans enjoy themselves at The Joe is always our top priority," said RiverDogs General Manager Dave Echols. "We received overwhelming and positive feedback regarding our standard game times for 2014, so we are excited to announce they will remain the same moving forward."

The team's games on Monday through Friday will continue to feature the traditional 7:05 pm start time, all Saturday home games will once again have a 6:05 pm first pitch, and first pitch on Sundays will remain at 5:05 pm.

As usual, however, the RiverDogs have several special days in which the normal start time will be slightly adjusted and that list of games includes:

  • Wednesday, April 15 vs. Augusta - Education Day; 11:05 am;
  • Monday, May 25 vs. Rome - Memorial Day; 6:35 pm;
  • Sunday, June 21 vs. Asheville - First Half Finale; 2:05 pm;
  • Saturday, July 4 vs. Rome - Independence Day Celebration; 6:35 pm;
  • Tuesday, July 28 vs. Greenville - Big Splash Day; 12:05 pm
  • Wednesday, September 2 vs. Asheville - Regular Season Finale; 6:35 pm

The RiverDogs open the 2015 season on April 9 with a seven-game homestand that features the Lexington Legends and Augusta GreenJackets. Season tickets, mini plans and group packages are now available by calling 843/577-DOGS (3647).
