This afternoon Gesa Stadium was announced the winner of Ballpark Digest's Best Short Season-A Ballpark in the country voted on by you the fans!

Over the course of three weeks Gesa Stadium defeated the New York-Penn League Short Season-A ballparks Joseph L. Bruno Stadium (Tri-City Valley Cats), Leidos Field at Cal Ripkin Stadium (Aberdeen Ironbirds), and Northwest League ballpark PK Park (Eugene Emeralds). In the Semi-Final match up, Gesa Stadium was paired with last year's Best Short Season-A Ballpark winner and number one seed LeLacheur Field (Lowell Spinners). With the all-out support of the Dust Devils faithful, Gesa Stadium was able to squeak out a win to pull off the biggest upset of the polls!
The championship match up paired two familiar foes against one another as Gesa Stadium faced Avista Stadium (Spokane Indians). Over the course of four days, Gesa Stadium prevailed this afternoon by beating Avista Stadium 62% to 38%!
"We are honored that our fans and partners enjoy their experience at Gesa Stadium enough to have faithfully voted over the past three weeks to defeat five other awesome Short Season A ballparks." - said Dust Devils Vice President-General Manager Derrel Ebert.
The Dust Devils would like to thank the local community and fans who helped Gesa Stadium be named the Best Short Season-A Ballpark in the country!
