Frisco, TX-Logan Gilbert earned his first Double-A victory as the Arkansas Travelers defeated the Frisco RoughRiders, 3-2, on Sunday night. Gilbert pitched six innings giving up just one run on three hits with three walks and five strikeouts. The only run he allowed came with two out in the sixth inning. Jordan Cowan led the offense with two hits and two runs batted in. Art Warren got the final four outs to secure the win and his league leading 13th save.
Moments That Mattered
* Cowan put the Travs on top twice. A two out RBI hit in the second inning and a one out single through a drawn-in infield in the seventh.
* Warren came in with runners at the corners and two out in the eighth. After the trail runner stole second, he struck out Frisco's cleanup hitter to strand the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position.
