Springfield, MO—Nolan Gorman hit three home runs in his first three at-bats and the Springfield Cardinals rolled past the Arkansas Travelers 9-2 on Saturday night. Springfield, MO—Nolan Gorman hit three home runs in his first three at-bats and the Springfield Cardinals rolled past the Arkansas Travelers 9-2 on Saturday night. The Cardinals totaled five homers in the game all coming off Arkansas starter Devin Sweet who was charged with seven runs over 3.1 innings. Springfield starter Andre Pallante pitched six innings and allowed just one run to earn the win.

* With the game tied at one, Springfield scored three times in the second inning. The first run scoring on a wild pitch and then Gorman added a two-run homer.

* The Cardinals took full control of the game in the fourth inning as Delvin Perez, Gorman and Brendan Donovan hit back-to-back-to-back homers.
