Decisive Plays: Chattanooga took the first lead on a sacrifice bunt from Julio Carreras in the third inning. Luke Waddell helped the Clingstones tie the score on an RBI single in the fourth inning. Chattanooga erupted for seven runs in the fourth inning, powered by a three-run home run from Peyton Stovall and another three-run shot from Carter Graham. By the time the dust settled, Chattanooga held an 8-1 lead. Groshans hit a towering two-run home run (29) in the sixth inning to get Columbus back on the board. Alex Lodise drove in two runs with a double in the seventh.

Key Contributors: Groshans (4-for-5, 2B, HR, 2 RBI) and Lodise (2-for-4, 2B, 3 RBI) provided most of the punch for Columbus. For Chattanooga, Graham (2-for-5, 2 HR, 4 RBI) and Stovall (3-for-4, 3 HR, 7 RBI) went off.

Notable: Columbus has lost four-straight games for the third time this season. Groshans surpassed Drew Lugbauer (28 HR in 2022) for the most home runs by an Atlanta Braves' Double-A player since 2000. He is three home runs shy of the all-time record since 1966, set by Leo Vargas (32 HR in 1981) for the Savannah Braves. Groshans also extended his franchise-record hitting streak to 17 games.
