Jupiter, FL (May 27, 2017)- Trevor Richards had one of his best outings off the season, tossing 6.1 innings, giving up one run, on one hit, while striking out seven in a Hammerheads' 2-1 win Saturday night.

Richards, who picked up a no-decision on the night, was removed in the 7th inning for Jeff Kinley.
The game was scoreless through the first six innings, as it was a pitcher's duel between Richards and Bradenton starter Taylor Hearn.
Richards left the game with one out and one on, when Kinley gave up a ground rule double to the first batter he faced, Marauders' DH Jordan George. Next batter Christian Kelley would single to left, bringing in the first run of the game. Kinley would eventually work out of trouble, limiting Bradenton to the lone run.
Brad Haynal singled in the bottom of the 7th to extend his hit streak to 8 games, but was left stranded on first base.
Kinley would retire the side in the top of the 8th, which set up the Jupiter comeback.
Jupiter put runners on the corners with one out against Bradenton reliever Jake Brentz, and J.J. Gould in the batter's box. During Gould's at-bat, Brentz was called for a balk, scoring Brian Schales and moving Rodrigo Vigil to second, tying the game at 1.
Vigil moved to third on a fielder's choice from Gould, and then scored on another fielder's choice off the bat of Kyle Barrett, which would end up being the winning run.
Tyler Kinley came out of the bullpen in ninth to shut the door, retiring the Marauders in order to secure the win, while picking up his second save.
The win snaps the Hammerheads five game losing streak, and sets them up for a chance to take the series tomorrow during the rubber match.
RHP Jorgan Cavanerio (0-2, 2.04 ERA) will get the start for the Hammerheads, his second since returning from the DL. He'll be opposed by Dario Agrazal (4-1, 2.50 ERA). First pitch is set for 1PM.
