Springfield, MO—Emerson Hancock fried seven one-hit shutout innings with seven strikeouts driving the Arkansas Travelers to a 4-0 win over the Springfield Cardinals on Friday night. The seven inning effort matched Hancock’s career high as he earned his league leading 11th win of the season. He needed only 77 pitches to work through the seven innings. The Travs scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning on a rocket off the bat of Robert Perez, Jr. that was scored an error and a two-run home run two innings later by Robbie Tenerowicz.
