LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Cincinnati Reds announced that pitcher Homer Bailey will start a Major League rehab assignment with Class AAA Louisville. Bailey is expected to start Monday, June 11 vs. the Columbus Clippers with first pitch at 7:00 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field.

On June 2, Bailey was placed on the 10-Day disabled list (right knee inflammation), retroactive to May 30.
In 12 starts for Cincinnati this season, Bailey is 1-7 with a 6.68 ERA (46er/62.0ip) with 24 walks and 38 strikeouts.
Tonight will mark his 24th career rehab appearance and 20th career rehab app (19th start) with Class AAA Louisville. For his Louisville career as a whole, Bailey is 24-19 with a 3.67 ERA (144er/352.2ip) in 64 games (63 starts). He's walked 129 batters and struck out 302 in parts of 8 seasons in a Bats uniform. He made his Louisville debut back on April 8, 2007 against the Toledo Mud Hens at Louisville Slugger Field.
