Bowling Green, KY- The Bowling Green Hot Rods, Class-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, are proud to announce a new partnership with Lawless Orthodontics, one that will give away free treatments to fans with every home run hit by MiLB top prospect and Hot Rods shortstop
"We are beyond excited to announce this new partnership with the Bowling Green Hot Rods team and to give free treatment to those in our community" Dr. Jay Lawless said.
The partnership stipulates that for every home run hit at Bowling Green Ballpark, Lawless Orthodontics will give away a free treatment to a fan in the stands. Lawless and the Hot Rods have teamed up to give away three treatments so far this season thanks to Franco's three home runs at Bowling Green Ballpark this season. Fans can enter to win at the Lawless Orthodontics table behind section 107 at every home game.
Franco, just 18-years old, is a braces-wearing Midwest League All-Star in 2019 and will start at shortstop for the Eastern Division team. A native of the baseball-town of Bani in the Dominican Republic, Franco has electrified crowds in his short time as a professional. The switch-hitter has 17 home runs as a pro through 117 games including six during the 2019 season. Franco's two brothers, as well as, two uncles all have or are playing professional baseball in the United States while his Uncles both played in the majors.
"The most exciting thing about this partnership is that we not only get to be involved with our local community", Dr. Lawless remarked "but we get to give back at the same time. Here at Lawless Orthodontics, we believe the work we do in the community is an extension of our mission and treatment philosophy, and this partnership gives us the opportunity to do just that."
When thinking of ideas for our partnership with Lawless Orthodontics, we wanted to make sure it was a home run" said Director of Sales, Kyle Wolz. "You see many unique promotions throughout minor league baseball and one like this gives Lawless the opportunity to not only give back to the community, but to showcase their brand throughout the ballpark all at one time! We are excited to see how many home runs Wander can string together during his time at Bowling Green Ballpark!"
The Hot Rods play a four-game series in South Bend against the Cubs before a Monday off day. Bowling Green returns home on June 25 to start a four-game set with the Great Lakes Loons.
