Howlers Announce 2027 Regular Season Schedule

The Hill City Howlers have announced their official schedule for the 2027 Carolina League season.

The 66-game home slate features several matchups with Commonwealth of Virginia rivals, the Fredericksburg Nationals and Salem RidgeYaks. In total, the Howlers will host nine different Carolina League foes.

Opening Day falls on April 2, as the Howlers will open the season with a three-game weekend slate against the Kannapolis CannonBallers. A series against the Hickory Crawdads (April 13-18) and Fayetteville Woodpeckers (April27-May2) fill the month of April.

The Howlers lone series in May falls in the middle of the month as the Battle of 460 renews for another season. The RidgeYaks arrive May 18-23 for the first leg of the rivalry.

June will serve as the busiest month with three full homestands. The month kicks off with a two-week stretch against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (June 1-6) and Fayetteville Woodpeckers (June 8-13). Fredericksburg arrives June 22-27 for the first of two homestands against the FredNats.

Hill City will hit the road until after the All-Star Break, when they square off against the Augusta GreenJackets for a three-game series (July 16-18). The team will stay home for a full week against the Delmarva Shorebirds (July 20-25).

August will open with a series against the Wilson Warbirds (Aug. 3-8) before the second home stint against the Nationals (Aug. 17-22). The Howlers wrap up the regular season at home against the Shorebirds, Aug. 31 through Sept. 5.

The Carolina League Playoffs will take place across the following two weeks of September.
