Down to their final strike with two outs on both occasions, the Red Wings got an RBI single from Erick Mejia and a two-run triple from Frankie Tostado to tie the game at 5-5 in the last of the ninth.

In the 10th, Darick Hall ripped a single to rightfield to plate the placed runner, putting the IronPigs back on top 6-5. Andrew Bellatti (S, 5) allowed just a walk in the bottom of the 10th, stranding two runners on to convert the save and clinch the 6-5 victory.
