JetHawks 2019 Opening Day Roster Announced
LANCASTER, Calif. - The Colorado Rockies have assigned the Lancaster JetHawks Opening Day roster for the 2019 season. The roster features six returning players from the 2018 team and two of Baseball America's Rockies top-30 prospects.

The pitching staff includes: RHP
Tyler, the organization's 18th-ranked prospect according to Baseball America, returns after pitching in 12 games out of the bullpen to finish last season. Dennis tossed 153.0 innings over 28 starts for Lancaster in 2018. Justo is the only player on the roster to start each of the last two seasons with the JetHawks.
The club's position players include: C
Castro, who slashed .354/.431/.552 over 27 games for the JetHawks last year, returns along with Diaz and Herrera. Vilade is Colorado's ninth-best prospect according to Baseball America, and Golden was named MVP of the Class A South Atlantic League last year.
The club will be led by first-year manager Scott Little. Supervisor of Development Frank Gonzales, hitting coach Tom Sutaris and pitching coach Dave Burba each return for their second seasons in Lancaster.
The JetHawks open the season with the Modesto Nuts on Thursday night at The Hangar. First pitch is 6:35 p.m.
