GRAND CHUTE, WI - Jordy Nelson is confirmed as a participant in the charity softball game to celebrate the Ten-Year Anniversary of the Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Championship from the 2010 season! Nelson had nine receptions, a touchdown and 140 yards receiving in that victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
GRAND CHUTE, WI - Jordy Nelson is confirmed as a participant in the charity softball game to celebrate the Ten-Year Anniversary of the Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Championship from the 2010 season! Nelson had nine receptions, a touchdown and 140 yards receiving in that victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He set a Green Bay record for receiving yards in a Super Bowl. The softball game will be held on Sunday, July 26 at 1:05pm.
Nelson took over the hosting duties of the Green & Gold Charity Softball Game from Driver for the 2013 contest and continued to host the game through 2017. This game will be the first time Nelson and Driver will be on the same softball field since 2012.
"I am looking forward to returning to Appleton to play softball, connect with fans, and to enjoy catching up with my teammates from the 2010 Packers Super Bowl Team," said Nelson.
This year's Donald Driver Charity Softball Game will feature Packers Legends that were on the team that won Super Bowl XLV. Stay tuned because there will be more announcements of Champions from that team who will be back to play softball in the game!
Tickets for the softball game are $53 for a front row box seat, $43 for a standard box seat, $25 for a reserved bleacher seat and $12 for a general admission grass seat. All-You-Can-Eat seats are also available for this game for $80 per seat. This ticket includes admission to the game, an all-you-can-eat picnic for 90 minutes, and two beverages (beer, soda, or water). There are very few front row box seats and All-You-Can-Eat seats remaining for this game. Fans attending the game will receive a complimentary, limited edition Donald Driver bobblehead!
The Donald Driver Charity Softball Game will raise money for the Donald Driver Foundation. The mission of the Donald Driver Foundation is to display Strong Hands, Strong Minds, and Loving Hearts to serve as a hand up, not a hand out.
