BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Thursday. RHP Jorge López  has been recalled by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Double-A Biloxi roster. 
Lopez, 24, was 3-6 with a 5.04 ERA over 16 games, 13 starts for the Shuckers this season. The club's all-time leader in most pitching categories has made 48 all-time appearances for the Shuckers, including 45 starts. Lopez' last two appearances have come out of the bullpen, logging 3.0 scoreless innings combined against the Mississippi Braves on June 23 and June 25 at MGM Park. The move was made today as Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson  (left oblique strain) has been placed on the 10-day DL.

Lopez was the Southern League's Most Outstanding Pitcher in 2015 after going 12-5 with a 2.26 ERA over 24 starts and 137 strikeouts in 143.1 innings pitched. Lopez' contract was selected by Milwaukee on September 22, 2015, and the Cayey, PR native made two starts for the Brewers. Lopez made his MLB debut in a 4-3 win on Sept. 29, 2015, at San Diego (5 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 WP), logging his first strikeout against Yangervis Solarte. His other start came in a 3-1 loss on Oct. 4, 2015, vs. the Chicago Cubs (5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K, 1 HBP).
The move places the Shuckers active roster at 24 players.

2017 Biloxi Shuckers shortstop Mauricio Dubón has been selected to play in this year's Futures Game, which will be held at 3 pm CT in Miami the Sunday before the All-Star Game. Dubon is still the active Southern League leader in stolen bases with 31 despite his promotion to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Monday. Dubon is batting .263 with two doubles and three RBI over his first four games with the SkySox.

The Shuckers look to snap a four-game skid on Thursday at Birmingham as Southern League All-Star Aaron Wilkerson faces off against fellow All-Star Michael Kopech. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm, with the Beau Rivage Pregame Show starting at 6:45 pm on Cruisin' WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network. The game will also be available at biloxishuckers.com, MiLB.TV and TuneIn Radio.
The Shuckers return to MGM Park after the All-Star break, June 22-June 26 to take on the Mississippi Braves for a five-game homestand.
