Josh Tomlin to Make Rehab Start on Friday, August 25

Cleveland Indians RHP Josh Tomlin will make a rehab appearance on Friday, August 25 when the Mahoning Valley Scrappers take on the West Virginia Black Bears at Eastwood Field. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm.

The starter was placed on the 10-day disabled list because of a left hamstring strain on Monday, July 31. Prior to his last start on July 30, he posted a 2.59 ERA, and held opposing hitters to a .169/.186/.289 slash line in four starts.
Friday starts a crucial three game series against the West Virginia Black Bears for first place in the Pickney division. Following the game there will be fireworks presented by Chevy All Stars, 21 WFMJ & WBCB.
