The Tigers used four pitchers to record their first no-hitter in franchise history and take the rubber match in the three-game weekend series.
After taking a 9-2 win on Saturday night, the Tigers (19-23, 9-10) notched the first of eight hits in the second inning and got on the board thanks to an RBI single and an RBI double in the top of the fifth. An insurance run came through in the top half of the seventh when ValleyCats (16-25, 6-14) relief pitcher
