June Promotions Highlighted by "Gump in the Gump" Night

The Montgomery Biscuits are excited to announce enhancements to the June Promotional Calendar. The Biscuits kick off the month with "Gump in the Gump Night" featuring a Greenbow Biscuits "Faux Back" uniform on Friday June 1st. The team will wear specialty jerseys and hats that pay homage to the 1960s and 70s in Major League Baseball as well as the movie Forrest Gump.
"We wanted to create a look that fans could imagine seeing in "Anytown", Alabama during the late 60's and early 70's," said Mike Murphy, Biscuits VP of Corporate and Fan Engagement. The specialty jerseys will be auctioned during the game through a silent auction on the Riverwalk Stadium concourse. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Cancer Wellness Foundation of Central Alabama.
On June 2nd, the Biscuits will continue the yearlong celebration of Montgomery Aviation with "Flight Night" featuring a C-130 figurine giveaway presented by AUM.
"The 908th Airlift Wing and the C-130 Hercules are iconic pieces of Maxwell Air Force Base and the Montgomery Community. We want to honor them on this night and treat our fans with this unique giveaway" said Biscuits GM and honorary member of the 908 AW, Scott Trible.
The giveaway will be for the first 1,000 fans in attendance on Saturday, June 2nd, and can be paired as a puzzle piece with the F-35 figurine giveaway set for August 8th. Both items are presented by AUM.
The Biscuits continue to giveback on June 9th with another specialty jersey auction for "Harry Potter Night", inspired by the book and movie series of the same name. The proceeds from this jersey will benefit the newly formed Montgomery Biscuits Charitable Foundation. "We are proud to announce the formation of The Montgomery Biscuits Charitable Foundation, which will allow us to use our platform to raise funds to assist with the incredible work that is done in our local non profit community." says Brendon Porter, Biscuits COO. "This will enable us to make even more of an impact in the River Region."
The Biscuits will turn back the clock (around their neck) again on June 22nd for "90's Night" featuring a special guest appearance by rapper and TV personality, Flavor Flav. The appearance will feature a special VIP meet and greet pre-game, and public autograph session from 7:00 to 8:00pm in the newly renovated Club Car Bar.
