Jupiter bested by Palm Beach in game one of the Series

Friday night's matchup between Jupiter and Palm Beach began 47 minutes late due to a rain delay. Friday night's matchup between Jupiter and Palm Beach began 47 minutes late due to a rain delay.
The Hammerheads struggled on the mound early in the game giving up eight of the night's nine hits within the first four innings.
Jupiter's starting pitcher Ryan Lillie pitched three 1/3 innings, allowing three runs off of eight hits. The only other run and hit for Palm Beach came in the 6th inning after Alejandro Mateo stepped on the rubber for Jupiter.
Righty Scott Squier came into the game for Jupiter in the seventh inning, pitching two hitless innings. Chad Smith closed out night for Jupiter's pitching staff striking out two of the final three batters while allowing no hits.
The Hammerheads were able to get on the board early as they scored the first of their three runs on an RBI ground out off the bat of Cameron Baranek in the first inning. The lefty recorded his second RBI of the night in the seventh inning as he doubled to right-center field bringing home Anfernee Seymour for Jupiter's third and final run.
Martín Prado went two for three for the Hammerheads while also scoring a run in the third inning off of a Riley Mahan RBI triple.
