Binghamton, NY- Mitch Kilkenny pitched into the seventh inning, and Brenton Doyle cranked a three-run home run as the Hartford Yard Goats won their franchise record 76th game, blanking the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7-0 on Saturday night at Mirabito Stadium in New York. Aaron Schunk contributed with an RBI single, setting a new record for RBI (76), passing current Rockies star Ryan McMahon (2016).

The Yard Goats scored a run in the first inning on Daniel Montano's RBI single, scoring Isaac Collins who started the inning with a double. Hartford added another run in the fourth inning to make it 2-0. Aaron Schunk belted an RBI single, scoring Brenton Doyle off Rumble Ponies starter Jose Chacin.

Hartford starter Mitch Kilkenny allowed six singles in 6.1 innings and walked just one while striking out three for his fifth win of the season. He retired the side in order in the fourth with two strikeouts.
