PEARL, MS -- Fresh off his Futures Game appearance on Sunday, M-Braves right-hander Kyle Wright (W, 6-7) tossed 7.0 innings of one-run baseball in Mississippi's 4-1 victory over the Montgomery Biscuits (15-13, 52-46) on Friday night. The win was the second-straight for the M-Braves (14-13, 43-54) and pushes the second-half record back over the .500 mark.

Wright retired the first 13 Montgomery batters and lost his perfect game bid in the fifth inning with one out on a double by Mike Brosseau. Trailing 2-0, the Biscuits scored their lone run on an RBI single by the next batter, Brett Sullivan.
The M-Braves got on the scoreboard first in the third inning. Ray-Patrick Didder smashed a line drive into the gap in right-center field and it snuck past centerfielder Tommy Milone all the way to the wall. Didder raced around the bases for the first run of the game, which was scored as a double and two-base error.
Travis Demeritte started the fifth inning by lifting a Benton Moss (L, 2-4) pitch over the wall in right-center for his 11th home run of the season. Demeritte's second home run in two days put the Braves up 2-0.
The Braves added two insurance runs in the eighth inning against Biscuits reliever Matt Krook. Daniel Lockhart drew a leadoff walk and then advanced to third a brilliant bunt by Alejandro Salazar. An errant throw by Brosseau the Biscuits third baseman advanced both runners. Tyler Neslony followed with a sacrifice fly scoring Lockhart and then Salazar scored to make it 4-1 on an RBI groundout from Tyler Marlette.
