LHP Michael Mader returns to M-Braves roster from Triple-A Gwinnett

BILOXI, MS - The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster move affecting the M-Braves roster prior to tonight's 6:35 pm game against the Biloxi Shuckers at MGM Park. LHP Michael Mader  has been transferred to Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett. 

BILOXI, MS - The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster move affecting the M-Braves roster prior to tonight's 6:35 pm game against the Biloxi Shuckers at MGM Park. LHP Michael Mader  has been transferred to Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett. 

Mader, 24, completed his second stint with the Stripers and started on Wednesday, taking a no-decision in Gwinnett's 11-4 victory at Indianapolis. The Mariana, FL native gave up three runs, two earned on five hits with two walks and four strikeouts. In two starts for Gwinnett, Mader is 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA (4 ER/10.0 IP), seven strikeouts and two walks. In 12 games, three starts for the M-Braves, Mader is 1-1 with a 3.10 ERA (10 ER/29.0 IP) and two saves with 25 strikeouts and 16 walks for the M-Braves. 

Mader was acquired by the Braves from Miami on August 6, 2016, and was originally a third-round selection of the Marlins in 2014. 

The Mississippi Braves active roster currently stands at 24 players and 6 players remain on the Disabled List.
