LHP Tanner Scott Named Orioles' Organizational Pitcher of the Month

BOWIE, Md. - Bowie Baysox LHP Tanner Scott was named the Baltimore Orioles Organizational Pitcher of the Month for May, as announced by the club's Player Development Department on Friday night. 

BOWIE, Md. - Bowie Baysox LHP Tanner Scott was named the Baltimore Orioles Organizational Pitcher of the Month for May, as announced by the club's Player Development Department on Friday night.

Scott posted a 1.50 ERA over six starts in the month and fanned 26 batters in 18.0 IP, while giving up just seven hits.
The southpaw struck out at least three batters in all six starts and held opponents to a .125 batting average against.
Scott becomes the second Baysox pitcher in as many months to win the award after LHP John Means was the recipient in April.
The Orioles originally selected Scott in the 6^th round of the 2014 MLB First Year Player Draft out of Howard Junior College (Texas).
