Lugnuts Front Office Staff Updates

A new season ahead means new coaches, new players, new promotions, new food, and a new look to the Lugnuts' front office staff.

• Marketing and Fan Engagement Manager Amanda Rich joined the Southern League's Knoxville Smokies as their new Director of Marketing, Social Media & Community Relations. Amanda had originally joined the Lugnuts as a member of the Pit Crew in 2021, taking over in marketing and fan engagement in 2022, and winning a Golden Bobblehead for her work with the Conservation Carnival in 2025.

• Director of Ticket Sales Nick Bertoia joined REVELxp in Ann Arbor as Deputy General Manager. Bertoia had worked for the Lugnuts for five seasons, rising to head of all sales, and further distinguishing himself with a preternatural ability to predict which Nuts would homer each night.

• Welcome back Eric Pionk as Ticket Sales Manager! Eric had worked for the Lugnuts from 2014 through 2020 before departing to direct ticket operations at Central Michigan University.

• Speaking of Chippewas, Jacob Warren-Kratz, entering his fourth season in Lansing, is the new Director of Stadium Operations, with Daniel Martinez rising to Manager of Stadium Operations.

• Zhander Currie-Phillips increases the Nuts' hyphenated surname domination. A native of Saginaw, Zhander joins the sales department as a Ticket Account Executive.

• Kayla Kornelson joins the Lugnuts' marketing department; the former UNC Wilmington Seahawk soars in as the new Marketing Manager.

• Lastly, social media ace/MSU women's hockey star Ellie Johnson joins the Lugnuts' staff full-time as Marketing Coordinator.
