Marlette, the 25-year old first baseman, takes home the MS Farm Bureau Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row. Marlette raised his batting average from .274 to .282 (44-for-156) over the course of the week. On the week, Marlette posted a .333 AVG (7-for-21) accompanied by 4 runs scored, one home run, four runs batted in, and four walks.
