The loss snapped Memphis' (50-32) four-game winning streak. Prior to today, New Orleans (30-52) had only scored two runs total in the first two games of the series.
Bader's home run was his 14th of the season, and he had 19 between Memphis and Double-A Springfield last season.
Each team committed three errors in the contest.
The Redbirds and Baby Cakes conclude their series tomorrow night at 6:35.
