PEORIA, IL- MiLB League President Pat O’Connor announced the cancellation of the 2020 MiLB season, including the Peoria Chiefs’ 140-game campaign, which was slated to begin on April 13th at Dozer Park.

“While the cancellation of the season is disappointing, the safety of our fans and staff are our top priority,” Chiefs’ General Manager Jason Mott said. “COVID-19 has created unprecedented circumstances across the world, but we will continue to push towards the future and look forward to welcoming guests back in 2021.”

Information regarding season tickets and groups purchased for the 2020 season will be communicated via Chiefs’ staff via phone and email. We ask for and appreciate your patience as we work through our processes.

The Peoria Chiefs thank you for your continued support. We look forward to coming back even better in 2021.

A press conference has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 1 at 11:00 am at Dozer Park for media. Fans can tune in to Facebook Live at that time.
