March is recognized as Women's History Month in the US, but every March 8 the world unites to celebrate International Women's Day. A day to recognize and honor the women who have not only blazed trails in industries everywhere, but also those who diligently follow in their footsteps -- keeping the path wide open for young girls to follow.

Minor League Baseball proudly recognized all of these women as well as those who keep their clubs, day-to-day operations and the game up and running. Each club went to social media as part of their endorsement for the hardworking ladies who make the incredible MiLB experience possible.

The Dayton Dragons got their female staff together for a group shot in front of the team logo.

While the Indianapolis Indians opted to take advantage of a nice day.

The Reno Aces went a different route, showing their toughness by braving the elements.

Some clubs highlighted specific members of their staff. Like the Somerset Patriots:

And the Las Vegas Aviators:

And the Spokane Indians:

The Montgomery Biscuits opted to highlight one of those trailblazers we mentioned earlier.

The Syracuse Mets and Portland Sea Dogs shared interviews.

Even one big league organization got in on the MiLB International Women's Day appreciation. The D-backs gave a shoutout to Hillsboro Hops manager Ronnie Gajownik.

Finally, the Albuquerque Istopes and Frisco RoughRiders took the opportunity to promote their women-inspired promotional nights during the season.

But whether they are in the game of baseball or not, there are women everywhere who inspire us all.
