The BayBears plated another run in the second after Thaiss led off with a triple to center field then scored a few batters later on a fielder's choice.
Mississippi (8-11) scored in the fourth when
Mobile put up three more runs in the bottom of the fourth when Thaiss hit a one out double followed by singles by Ward and Moyer. Barash drew a walk before
Mississippi used five pitchers on the night combining to give up 11 hits with six walks and seven strikeouts.
Wednesday morning the Braves and BayBears will conclude the five-game series. Mississippi will send RHP
