Native American Heritage Night Speciality Jerseys Raise $24,985 For Bob Chavez Scholarship For The Arts

The Albuquerque Isotopes today announced the Native American Heritage Night specialty jerseys raised $24,985 for the Bob Chavez Scholarship for the Arts.

The total amount raised is the largest through a jersey auction and in-stadium jersey sales in club history.

Native American Heritage Night drew a crowd of 9,676—the club’s third largest in 2026.

The Isotopes, in conjunction with the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, will host a special pre-game check presentation on Tuesday, September 15.

“Native American Heritage Night has become much more than a game; it's a celebration of culture, community, and connection,” Isotopes General Manager Chrissy Baines said. “To raise nearly $25,000 for the Bob Chavez Scholarship for the Arts, the highest jersey fundraising total in our club's history, is something we are incredibly proud of. We're grateful to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center for their partnership and leadership in helping us create an event that honors Native traditions while providing meaningful support for future artists and cultural leaders.”

From the jerseys designed by Evone ‘Snowflake’ Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo) to the energy of the fans in the stands, the evening was a meaningful reminder of the importance of representation and we’re proud to have been part of such a special night.”

The specialty jerseys were designed in partnership with the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and renowned potter Evone “Snowflake” Martinez. This was the second year the Isotopes and Indian Pueblo Cultural Center partnered for “Native American Heritage Night.” The event has seen substantial growth with the addition of the specialty jersey, unique giveaways, curated music for the post-game fireworks show and traditional dance and music performances.
