Next-to-Last Home Stand Runs August 13-18

As summer is quickly winding down, so is the baseball season, but there is still time to catch a Tulsa Drillers game at ONEOK Field. The Drillers will return home on Tuesday, August 13 to begin their next-to-last home stand of the 2024 regular season.

The Drillers will host the Midland RockHounds (Oakland A’s) in a six-game series that will run for six consecutive days, through Sunday, August 18.

The first five games of the series will all start at 7:00 p.m. Sunday’s series finale will be the lone exception, as it will be an afternoon game starting at 1:00 p.m.

The series will include a great promotion with each game, highlighted by two straight nights of Fireworks Shows on Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17.

Friday Night Fireworks and Grand Slam Saturday are part of a “five-day 918 Weekend” in which the Drillers will rebrand as the Tulsa Raft Racers in a tribute to one of the city’s iconic events, Tulsa’s Great Raft Race. For the Wednesday through Sunday games, the Drillers will identify as the Tulsa Raft Racers and will wear special, orange and teal Raft Racers jerseys and caps.

The series of promotions will open with $2 Tuesday on August 13, followed by Bark-in-the-Park and $3 White Claws on Wednesday, August 14. It is the final Bark-in-the-Park promotion of the season and your final chance to bring your dog to the game. Wednesday will also feature the first half of a two-night giveaway with the first 1,000 fans receiving a pair of Hawaiian, Raft Racers shorts.

The second half of this unique giveaway will take place the following night, on Thursday, August 15, with the first 1,000 fans receiving the matching Hawaiian, Raft Racers shirts to pair with the previous night’s shorts. These are two giveaways that you will not want to miss!

Following Friday Night Fireworks on August 16 and Grand Slam Saturday Fireworks on August 17, the series and home stand will conclude with the final FUNday Sunday of the season on August 18. For the finale, the first 500 fans will receive Raft Racers Life Jacket Koozies. Kids will have the chance to go on the field before the game to play catch, and then go back down to run the bases after game.

On the field, it will be the second series this season between the Drillers and RockHounds. In May, the Hounds won four of the six games that the two teams played in Midland. It will be an important six games as both teams are in the middle of second-half, pennant races for their respective division titles in the Texas League.

This Wednesday through Sunday, the Drillers will transform into the Tulsa Raft Racers! The Drillers will be paying tribute to Tulsa’s Great Raft Race that took place for the first time in Tulsa in 1973 on the Arkansas River. The Drillers will wear custom orange and teal life jacket jerseys and caps featuring Ronny the Raft Racer during the five-night celebration. Plus, a custom Raft Racers raft, made by John Zink Hamworthy Combustions and the Drillers, and other local rafts will be on display! 918 Weekend featuring Tulsa Raft Racers is presented by Chick-fil-A Tulsa.

BARK IN THE PARK & $3 WHITE CLAWS

Wednesday is also the last Bark in the Park & $3 White Claws of the season, and you do not want to miss the final opportunity to catch Drillers Baseball with your furry friend! Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game and enjoy the action from the Ferguson Kia Lawns or the Budweiser Terrace. Dogs do not need tickets, but they must have a record of up-to-date rabies vaccinations. Fans with dog companions need to enter the stadium through the Tulsa World First Base Gate or the Oil Derrick Gate.

Fans, ages 21 and over, can also enjoy discounted $3 White Claws that will be sold on the concourse behind home plate.
